Terms of Service
Last updated September 17, 2026
The short version: you own what you put in, AI answers come from third parties and can be wrong, paid plans are billed through Dodo Payments and can be cancelled anytime, and don't use Vedlora to target people or break the rules of the AI systems we query. The full terms follow.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and Vedlora (“Vedlora”, “we”, “us”) covering your use of the Vedlora website, dashboard, API, SDKs, MCP server and related services (the “Service”).
If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other organization, you confirm you have authority to accept these Terms for it, and “you” means that organization. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
2. What the Service does
Vedlora sends prompts you choose to third-party AI systems and search products (such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Grok and Google AI Overviews), stores their answers, and analyzes how brands are mentioned, ranked, cited and described.
AI answers vary from run to run and change as those systems change. Metrics are statistical estimates based on the answers we collected, as described in our methodology. They are not a guarantee of how any AI system will respond to any particular person.
3. Accounts and security
- You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate account information.
- You're responsible for everything that happens under your account and API keys. Keep passwords and API keys confidential, and revoke any key you believe is compromised.
- Tell us promptly at support@vedlora.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service in violation of law or third-party rights;
- submit prompts designed to produce content that violates the usage policies of the AI providers we query, or that target private individuals, including tracking a private person as a “brand”;
- put personal data, confidential information or secrets into prompts, brand names or other fields sent to AI providers;
- interfere with the Service, bypass rate limits or plan limits, probe for vulnerabilities without our written permission, or use webhooks to target systems you don't control;
- resell or redistribute access to the Service or its raw data as a standalone data feed without our written agreement;
- reverse engineer the Service except where the law expressly permits it.
We may suspend use that we reasonably believe breaks these rules or puts the Service or others at risk.
5. Your content
“Your Content” means what you provide: projects, brand names, aliases, domains, prompts, webhook URLs and similar configuration. You keep all rights to it.
You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, copy, transmit and process Your Content only as needed to provide, secure and improve the Service. This includes sending prompts to the AI providers and data providers that generate answers. When several customers track the same prompt, we may collect one shared answer; each customer's brands and results stay private to that customer.
6. Collected answers and reports
Answers are produced by third-party AI systems, not by Vedlora, and may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or offensive. We don't endorse them. Subject to these Terms and any terms of the underlying providers, you may use collected answers, metrics and reports for your internal business purposes, including sharing them with your clients if you're an agency.
We may use aggregated and de-identified data about how the Service is used (for example, which engines are queried most) to operate and improve it. We don't sell Your Content.
7. Plans, credits and payment
- Merchant of record. Paid plans are sold through Dodo Payments, which acts as merchant of record and handles payment processing, invoicing and applicable sales taxes and VAT. Dodo Payments' terms also apply to your purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
- Credits. Each plan includes a monthly credit allowance. Collecting one answer uses the number of credits shown for that engine on our pricing page. Unused credits don't roll over. If your plan includes overage, usage above the allowance is billed at the published overage rate, up to your plan's overage limit.
- Price changes. We'll give at least 30 days' notice before changing the price of your plan; changes apply from your next billing period.
- Refunds. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or stated otherwise by us in writing.
- Free plan. We may change or discontinue the free plan, including its credit allowance, with reasonable notice.
8. API, webhooks and SDKs
- API use is subject to rate limits and plan limits, which we may adjust to protect the Service.
- We aim to keep the v1 API backward compatible. We'll give at least 90 days' notice before removing an endpoint or making a breaking change, except where needed for security or legal reasons.
- You're responsible for securing your webhook endpoints and verifying webhook signatures.
- Our open-source SDKs and MCP server are licensed under their own licenses (MIT), which govern that code.
9. Third-party services
The Service depends on third-party AI providers, data providers and infrastructure. Their availability, pricing, policies and outputs are outside our control. We may add, change or remove engines or providers, and an engine may become temporarily or permanently unavailable. Failed collections are shown as gaps and don't use credits.
10. Confidentiality and privacy
Each party will protect the other's non-public information with reasonable care and use it only to perform under these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. Business customers can request a data processing agreement at privacy@vedlora.com.
11. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Service, delete your projects or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay, or if required by law. Where reasonable, we'll give notice first and a chance to fix the problem.
On termination, your right to use the Service ends. We'll delete or de-identify Your Content within a reasonable period, as described in the Privacy Policy, except where we must keep it by law.
12. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the Service or collected answers will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted or error-free. Metrics are estimates; don't rely on them as the sole basis for significant decisions.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill or data, even if advised of the possibility.
Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or US$100. These limits don't apply where the law doesn't allow them.
14. Indemnity
You'll defend and indemnify Vedlora against third-party claims arising from Your Content or your breach of the acceptable use rules, including reasonable legal fees, provided we notify you promptly and let you control the defense.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. For material changes we'll notify you by email or in the dashboard at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, with the courts of Gurugram, Haryana having exclusive jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, each party will try in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for 30 days. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection laws where you live.
17. General
These Terms, together with any order or plan details, are the entire agreement about the Service. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Failure to enforce a provision isn't a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
